An explosion at a ConAgra Foods Inc. plant in North Carolina contributed to the company's decision to expand its Troy plant and move most of its production of Slim Jim meat stick products there in 2011, reports the
Dayton Daily News.
Company, state and local officials on April 30, attended a ground-breaking ceremony for a $59 million plant expansion that will add about 190 jobs to the plant's current 385.
