Dayton ranks 10th among the nation’s large metro areas in the percentage of high-paying jobs that require science, technology, engineering and math skills, a study released today by the Brookings Institution has found.

The dean and chief administrative officer of the Trumbull campus of Kent State University, Robert Sines, has been named interim dean of the university’s college of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). He will serve in that post through June 2015.
