SignTrak is a software development company that launched in 2007, but already counts seven of the 25-largest beer distributorships in the nation among its clients. The company's namesake, web-based product helps distributors order, track and manage marketing materials, including printed and permanent signs, that catch beverage buyers' attention in stores. Those promotional items are often ordered by the same sales people who meet with bar owners, restaurateurs and grocery store buyers to take their beverage orders; they then relay sign orders to largely in-house print shops. Before SignTrak that process was done by paper, and was often drawn out and error-prone. With SignTrak's software, the customer can proof the promotional items online, cutting down on errors, and print shops can manage their workload better, boosting production by up to 20 percent. SignTrak has expanded its niche, developing MenuTrak for custom wine menus, SampleTrak for wine and spirit samples and PermaTrak for permanent signs, coolers and racks. The company has received funding from CincyTech and Ohio Third Frontier. It has 10 employees.
