With a successful line of screw and plate instruments used across the U.S., OrthoHelix is a competitive leader in its marketplace and was expected to see sales of $20 million in 2010. An Ohio Third Frontier grant for $1 million awarded to the company in June 2010 was expected to lead to add an additional 42 employees to a current 50 as the company commercialized a new locking mechanism product, OrthoLock. The company was expecting sales to double within three years as the new product rolled out in early 2011.
