Formed in 2001, Designing Digitally, Inc. has seen demand for virtual world development grow recently -- allowing companies and government agencies to use browser based virtual worlds for training, recruiting, and simulations. Clients include a wide array of not-for-profits, corporate clients, educational institutions and state and federal agencies -- including projects developed for the Air Force Academy, Wright Patterson Air force Base, and the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The company in early 2011 had ten full-time employees, 24 contractors and consultants, and was hiring.
